Description
Screen Printing Dip Tank – Faster, More Efficient Screen Reclaiming
Spend less time manually stripping screens and more time getting them ready for the next print job.
This heavy-duty screen printing dip tank is designed to streamline the reclaiming process by allowing multiple screens to soak while the reclaiming chemistry gets to work breaking down emulsion and residual ink.
Simply place your screens into the tank, allow the solution to work, and use that dwell time to move onto other jobs in the print shop.
With a 35-gallon capacity of approximately 130 litres, the tank can accommodate around 5–6 Size 3 screens measuring 800 × 600 mm at a time, making it a practical addition for print shops reclaiming screens regularly.
Built for AGM Golden Stripper
For dip-tank reclaiming, our go-to solution is AGM Golden Stripper.
Golden Stripper is designed for post-press screen reclamation and can remove both stencil and leftover ink. For dip-tank use, it is diluted at 1 part Golden Stripper to 5 parts water. Standard screens can typically be soaked for around 2–3 minutes, with additional dwell time used for more stubborn ink and emulsion.
Once the chemistry has broken down the stencil and ink residue, simply remove the screen and use a pressure washer to rinse the screen clean.
Let the Tank Do the Work
The biggest benefit of a dip tank isn’t just cleaner screens — it’s freeing up your time.
Instead of standing at the washout booth manually working chemical into every screen, multiple screens can be loaded into the tank and left to soak while you continue with other production tasks.
That helps create a more efficient reclaiming workflow:
- Scrape excess ink from your screens.
- Load the screens into the dip tank.
- Allow AGM Golden Stripper to break down the emulsion and remaining ink.
- Use the dwell time to get on with another job.
- Remove the screens and pressure wash away the loosened stencil and residue.
- Complete the reclaiming process with a clean-water rinse.
It’s a simple change that can make repetitive screen reclamation far less labour-intensive.
Large 130 Litre Capacity
The tank provides approximately 130 litres of working capacity, giving you plenty of room for regular production reclaiming.
It can hold approximately:
5–6 Size 3 screens at one time
Screen size: 800 × 600 mm
Rather than reclaiming screens individually, you can process several screens together and create a more consistent workflow through your washout area.
Heavy-Duty Poly Construction
Made from sturdy polyethylene, the tank is designed for regular use in a working screen-printing environment.
The poly construction also makes it practical for chemical-based screen reclaiming applications without introducing unnecessary complexity into the washout area.
A lid is included, allowing the tank to be covered when not in use.

A Smarter Screen-Reclaiming Workflow
For print shops reclaiming screens regularly, a dedicated screen printing dip tank can turn one of the most repetitive parts of production into a far more efficient process.
Load several screens at once, give AGM Golden Stripper time to break down the emulsion and ink, then pressure wash them clean when they’re ready.
Less time scrubbing. More screens reclaimed. More time available for production.
