Description

Monokan Ink Series – High Adhesion Single-Pack Screen Ink for Industrial Substrates

Monokan is a high-performance, one-pot screen ink system designed to deliver the exceptional adhesion and resistance properties typically found in two-pack inks. It uses a blocked catalyst system that activates after printing to enhance bonding and resistance, achieving full cure after 7 days of air drying or in just 10 minutes at 93°C in a curing oven.

Perfect for industrial and outdoor applications, Monokan has been independently tested and proven to perform under extreme environmental conditions, especially when post-coated with A.S.I. Pro-Pack Clear.

Key Benefits:

  • One-pot system with post-print catalyst activation
  • Gloss finish with excellent adhesion and product resistance
  • Fast initial dry – jet dry in seconds, touch dry in 20 minutes
  • Fully cured in 7 days (air) or 10 minutes at 93°C
  • Outstanding weather and chemical resistance when overcoated

Recommended Substrates:

  • Treated polyethylene and polypropylene
  • Fiberglass and Perspex®
  • Masonite® and powder-coated surfaces
  • Sign-grade Colourbond®

You can find these options in our Solvent & UV Emulsions collection.

Screen Setup:

  • Mesh: 62T–140T monofilament
